The Congreso Colombiano de Arqueología took place between May 2nd to 4th in Santa Marta. During this event, Ana María Aguirre presented her updates in the analysis of the lithic technology from Cerro Montoya and Limoncillos with a talk titled “Lithic technology from Serranía de la Lindosa as a cobble industry”. In this talk she emphasized in the importance of the election of the raw material shapes in the knapping. In the lithic assemblages there is evidence of the preservation of features from the cobbles in the instruments, especially associated to a prehensive function.
